IllVibez, SnitchVibez, Hypocrite, Toronto's Most Infamous Informant of 2015

Snitch Biography:

You might of heard or seen this individual before but if you haven't: Anthony "IllVibez" Craparotta is an aspiring rapper/musician even until this day. A Canadian hailing from his hometown of Barrie, Ontario, growing up in the wealthy upper middle class, he had eventually moved and settled in the south-western part of Toronto. He also classifies himself as a web entrepreneur/graphic designer, attending and graduating Georgian College in Barrie under Marketing and Advertising. He also had the priviledge of working managerial roles in companies like "FireFox" and "Fuse".

However on April 23rd, 2014, Anthony "IllVibez" Craparotta showed his true colors and informed police on another notable Toronto based rapper/musician and his name is Dre Barrs.

To understand the history, we must understand Dre Barrs (Andre Martin). Dre Barrs grew up in an underprivileged community housing environment in the downtown area of Toronto. He grew up around a lot of hostility and violence, though an adult in his 30's he continues to make music, driving the passion he carried since he was a kid, to feed his loved ones like many do. The confrontation happened with Anthony on April 2014, during a house show, IllVibez was noticeably disrespecting Dre Barrs backstage. Shit talking his attire, his demeanor, his background before preforming amongst a crowd of 50-100 people. Dre Barrs isn't the individual to take lightly to "shit talk" and confronted IllVibez about his words and as a result assaulted him, punching him in his face. Though many consider it warranted as IllVibez initiated the heat. Afterward, the two exchanged conversations on twitter where Dre Barrs allegedly threatened IllVibez to keep his name out his mouth.

Three days later, Andre Martin (Dre Barrs) had been arrested, and brought before the courts on charges of: "Threatening to Commit Bodily Harm & Harassment" and as a result was forced to not leave his premises, notify his officer and told to not come within 100 feet of Anthony or arrests will happen.

This incident was exposed to social media and many musicians/rappers within Toronto and outside regions like Durham chimed into it. Many people sided with Dre Barrs throughout this. During this IllVibez played the civilian card, however its hypocritical on his part to: 1. Initiate the incident and not expect backlash & 2. To promote the use of firearms and other suspicious imagery in his music. An example is his song "BXNG BXNG feat. Mac Vybz" which a video was posted to Youtube, showcasing the use of guns as props however the video has since been taken down.

Overall, Anthony "IllVibez" Craparotta chose to ignore the incident and ban or try his best not to come into contact with anyone with knowledge on this incident. He seemed to excel since then, opening for the likes of Royce Da 5'9, who had preformed at the Mod Club and even ending up a contestant on CBC's "Canada's Smartest Person" as well as having his music being greenlit and played on various radio channels as a result. To know this and understand the impact it had on a fellow rapper who grew up in much worse circumstances is troubling and unfortunate.
