Brandon Christopher Ramsay, otherwise known as Ramsay Tha Great is a rapper/record producer hailing the Chicago's Southside. He is a producer and a notable executive for DADA Creative, the video channel behind many notable Chicago hits. He's produced for artists such as Soulja Boy, Famous Dex and Rich the Kid. He started establishing himself as a producer in January 2012. Not much is known about his background, his notoriety and rise to fame comes from one unfortunate incident in particular and it involves another rapper, Keith Cozart, otherwise known as rapper Chief Keef of O Block in Southside, Chicago. On Thursday night January 26, 2017, rappers Chief Keef and Tadoe were arrested for breaking into producer Ramsay Tha Great's home and assaulting him with an AK-47.
Why? and how does this make him a snitch? Well Ramsay used to produce for Chief Keef awhile back in 2015. Apparently they had a falling out (not clear how or why it happened), so Chief Keef decided to do things the Chief Keef way.
He decided to press him the way Chicago villians do.
According to Brandon himself: In California, at the residence Brandon currently resides in, after having an argument between himself and another individual's wife; he goes back into his room to sleep. As he was sleeping, she called Chief Keef to try to put him on the phone with Brandon for the purpose of calming him down. After that initial conversation, minutes later, somebody bangs on Brandon's front door. He hears its Sosa (Chief Keef), so he opens it. Than he gets pushed back, another individual behind Chief Keef (Tadoe) pulls up on him with an AK-47. Both of them start punching and gun-butting Brandon. Apparently he was robbed of $1600, a ring, and a Rolex.
A day later after the incident, a sweep was done of Chief Keef's California residence. Chief Keef was arrested for the incident but after the trial the charges were dropped. How is he a snitch? Well this all starts with a couple of Instagram posts.
It should also be noted that Ramsay Tha Great has shared his side of the story in a series of Instagram posts. “It’s real sad to see my Black community condone home invasion, armed robbery with a deadly assault, hitting me in the face with a AK-47. It’s crazy y’all condone that," Ramsay says. "And now that he’s locked up cause he chose to make that stupid decision to come to my house and do that, I’m the bad guy for putting him in jail?” Meanwhile, a different rapper named Trav has something to say about Ramsay.
Trav posted a video to social media in which he tells the story of Ramsay "actin' like a gangster" at a party.
“This same guy that Chief Keef beat up, he was actin’ like a gangster,” Trav says.
“I backed right out on him.

Now he’s suing somebody. Look at this guy, this guy’s a sucker.”
Yes you heard that right, hes suing. After the beating, as he was recovering in hospital he discussed the situation and what happened.

In a series of posts, he said he is filing with a court to sue the rapper for damages. I quote "Hes an idiot for showing his face. A 6 million dollar rapper, who doesn't want to take this opportunity."
With that he cemented himself as a rat, many rappers chimed in on this situation such as Young Chop and King Yella. He was told not to come back to Chicago anymore and to stay in California.
